GN2 is the operation name given to the SMB Methodist School Home Page. To the sub operations under GN2 are project OC, project 50 and project Vr2. GN2, giving the definition of Generation 2 while OC stands for Online Class Room and 50, like we all know, the 50^th anniversary project. So what is our main objective? Simple enough. Developing the school homepage to meet the highest quality of a proper Web Site while making a way for the school to progress towards the world Information Technology. For you information, the School homepage is being maintained and developed by the Internet Club all this while. Through three years of experience, we have changed the homepage interface from time to time and culminated this particular year compared to the previous years. Our GN2 Web Team formed for this purpose, aspires to bring the grand celebration of the 50^th anniversary direct to you from the fast growing World Wide Web.

Furthermore, project Vr2, also known as Virtual Tour Photo Gallery 1999, promotes our motto that goes ‘The Reality Experience’ giving you the big picture of SMB Methodist without the touch of any advance graphic software. So, what you envision on your computer is exactly what you see when you visit our school, SMB Methodist, one of the most strategic placed schools in Sibu town. Utilizing the latest multimedia technology, our highly experienced designers are able to bring the School Homepage more comprehensive and interactive direct to you from any computer with Internet access. It is with this class of technology that inspires us to manipulate the capabilities, producing the best of the best without sacrificing the genuine information and illustration about our school. 

In the process of completing the GN2 project, the team faced several problems. The first problem is information collecting which took us a lot of time to do & it involves a lot of typing work as most information are printed on plain paper. Secondly, the GN2 project was slowed down on the 21st & 22nd of August when the Sarawak Electric Supply Corporation (SESCO) shutdown the power supply of several areas for some unscheduled maintenance & repair works. Worse still, the team members were busy preparing for their exams starting on the 26th! With all odds against us, the GN2 project is successful as a whole although it didn't complete as expected.
